Loft Lamp Design
A cast-iron pipe loft lamp designed from concept to packaging. The product reached top positions in its marketplace category.
The Task
The product needed to be
- visually distinctive
- authentic in material and form
- affordable to produce
- clear in positioning
Approach
I designed not only the object itself but the full product experience: form, materials, packaging, and marketplace presentation.
The focus was on clarity and consistency across all touchpoints.
Form & Materials
Built from cast-iron plumbing pipes. Exposed joints and raw structure became part of the visual language.
Structural balance, industrial authenticity, simplicity, and durability.
Packaging Design
The packaging followed the same minimal and industrial aesthetic.
It was designed to:
- reinforce the loft identity
- stay production-efficient
- communicate quality clearly
Typography and layout were kept clean and restrained.
