Škoda has released the first official design sketches of the Peaq, a large three-row electric SUV that will sit at the top of the brand’s EV lineup. The model is scheduled to make its global debut on June 23 in Monnetier-Mornex, France, before entering the market shortly after.

The Peaq continues the direction first shown by the Vision 7S concept in 2022 and will serve as the fully electric counterpart to the Kodiaq. Its design follows Škoda’s latest “Tech-Deck” front-end treatment, with additional lighting integrated into the grille area and T-shaped taillights at the rear. The sketches show a clean body side, flush door handles, pronounced fender surfaces and textured cladding around the bumpers and wheel arches.

Although the images focus on the exterior, Škoda has already outlined several cabin features. The Peaq is expected to offer a 13.6-inch infotainment screen, an augmented-reality head-up display, an electrochromic panoramic roof, massage seats with leg rests, a premium audio system and recycled materials throughout the interior.

The SUV measures 4,874 mm in length and has a 2,965 mm wheelbase. Škoda will offer both five-seat and seven-seat layouts. The five-seat version provides up to 1,010 liters of cargo space, while the seven-seat version offers 299 liters behind the third row. Both versions also include a 37-liter front trunk.

The Peaq will be based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform and offered with two battery sizes

The Peaq will be based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform and offered with two battery sizes: 63 kWh and 91 kWh. Power outputs will range from 201 hp in the entry rear-wheel-drive version to 282 hp in the stronger rear-wheel-drive model and 295 hp in the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant. The maximum WLTP range is expected to reach 600 km, or 373 miles.

Production is planned for Škoda’s Mladá Boleslav facilities in the Czech Republic. With the Peaq, Škoda is moving into the growing segment of large electric family SUVs, where design, cabin flexibility and long-distance range are becoming just as important as raw power.
